Golden Star Resources Ltd. (AMEX:GSS) is a publicly traded international gold mining company with its corporate headquarters located in Littleton, Colorado. Golden Star has operations all over the world and their IT infrastructure is both complex and extensive. Jill Thompson of GSR chose Concentrics to make sure that Golden Star met all of its Sarbanes and Oxley (SOX) regulatory obligations. David Santistevan of Concentrics has been involved with Golden Star's SOX compliance since the inception of the SOX regulations and working together, they developed all IT policies and procedures as well as all testing criteria for both internal and independent audits. Creating secure access for the highly mobile GSR staff and consultants was no easy task, but using an "industry best practices" approach, Concentrics has successfully accomplished it.

Concentrics is also responsible for working with GSR on an on-going basis to monitor security events, management of staff IT and access to corporate data.
